December 2014 Newsletter 

Our monthly meeting in December was held at Multi-Clean in Shoreview.  Thanks to their support in hosting us.  Ed Casama of Buhler presented on Grinding and Dispersing while Amanda Andrews of Wacker presented on the use of silicones in paints and coatings. (see photos below)

Our monthly meetings are held on the second Tuesday of the month from October – April.  Our next meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, January 13th at Tennant’s Corporate Woods site in Golden Valley.  Shepherd Color will present on color technology.

Our Membership registration is wrapping up.  You can follow the link to our membership page and fill out an application to join.  Individual Memberships are $25 per year and Corporate Memberships are available ($100 for 4-9 people; $200 for 10-19 and $400 for 20-29).  Members receive discounted rates for monthly meetings and have access to electronic copies of presentations provided to the NWSCT.

Tuesday, April 14th:  Annual Education Symposium at Valspar.
We will also host a Winter Outing and Texas Hold Em Tournament in early ’15.

Scholarship Program

We have launched a Scholarship program that will award individual scholarships to the son or daughter of an active member of the NWSCT in good standing.  More details to follow.  Applications are available at monthly meetings and will soon be available on our website. 

All monthly meetings are held on the second Tuesday of the month from October - April from 11:30 am - 1:30 pm and include lunch.
