Our March meeting will be on Tuesday, March 9th from 11:30 to 1:30 at Valspar R&D (312 South 11th Avenue, Minneapolis, MN 55415).  The cost of this meeting will be $30 per person if paid on our website http://www.nwsct.org/ using PayPal by March 5th and $35 after that date.  Please contact Elaine Anderson (elaine@commerceindustrialchemicals.com) if you are going to attend the meeting and you are not going to pay via PayPal as we need a head count for lunch.     

 

This meeting is Education Day for North Dakota State University.   There will be two student talks during this meeting.  The first of these talks is titled "Smart functional macromolecules: synthesis and self-assembly" and will feature Ivan Hevus.  The second talk is titled "Thermosetting coatings from biobased raw materials or 'Coatings from the vegetable garden'" and will feature Xiao Pan.

 

After the luncheon and talk we will be discussing officers for next year and the June golf outing.

 

We greatly appreciate all of the new members that have recently joined the society and hope you are able to attend the March meeting.  Please let us know if there is anything that you would like to see our group do in the future.  Some items to consider are membership types, social/educational activities, and meeting topics.
