November 2014 Newsletter

Our monthly meeting in November was held at HB Fuller in Vadnais Heights. Thanks to their support in hosting us. Hersjel Wehrens of Elementis Specialties presented on Dispersant Technology.

Our monthly meetings are held on the second Tuesday of the month from October – April. Our next meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, December 9th at Multi-Clean in Shoreview. We will have two speakers as Buhler will present on grinding and dispersing of pigments while Wacker will present on the use of silicones in coatings.

Our Membership registration is underway. You can follow the link to our membership page and fill out an application to join. Individual Memberships are $25 per year and Corporate Memberships are available ($100 for 4-9 people; $200 for 10-19 and $400 for 20-29). Members receive discounted rates for monthly meetings and have access to electronic copies of presentations provided to the NWSCT.

Note: All monthly meetings are held on the second Tuesday of the month from October - April from 11:30 am - 1:30 pm and include lunch.

We will also host a Winter Outing and Texas Hold Em Tournament in early ’15.

Scholarship Program

We have launched a Scholarship program that will award individual scholarships to the son or daughter of an active member of the NWSCT in good standing. More details to follow. Applications are available at monthly meetings and will soon be available on our website.
