NWSCT April Meeting

The next NWSCT monthly meeting will be held on Tuesday, April 19th at Valspar's Building #2 in Minneapolis. The address is 1028 South 3rd Street and the building is on the northwest corner of 11th Avenue South and South 3rd Street in downtown Minneapolis. Please note that due to stadium construction nearby you may need to allow more time to find parking for this meeting, which is our Annual Education Symposium and will feature presentations from students at North Dakota State University's Department of Coatings and Polymeric Materials.

If street parking is unavailable there is a parking ramp at the Marriott hotel just a few blocks east of Valspar that is on the northeast corner of Interstate Highway 35W and Washington Avenue. The meeting will be held from 11:30 am - 1:30 pm and includes lunch. The cost for the meeting will be $15 for members and $20 for non-members if registration is made by Friday, April 15th ($20/$25 if registering later). Monthly Meeting Registration. Please contact Eric Scholl (scholl.e@multiclean.com) if you plan to attend the meeting but will not be paying via PayPal so that we can get an accurate head count for lunch. Please note that due to the American Coatings Show this year we are conducting our meeting on the 3rd Tuesday of the month.

NOTE: We will also be conducting a vote to expand our scholarship program. Currently children of active members are eligible for the individual scholarship. We will vote to expand this program to members and grandchildren of members.

Scholarship Program

We have launched a Scholarship program that will award individual scholarships to the son or daughter of an active member of the NWSCT in good standing. Scholarship program details and applications are available at monthly meetings as well as on the website. Application form deadline is May 1st.

Our Membership registration for the 2014/2015 fiscal year is finished. However, you can follow the link to our membership page and fill out an application to join at any time. Individual Memberships are $25 per year and Corporate Memberships are available ($100 for 4-9 people; $200 for 10-19 people and $400 for 20-29 people). Members receive discounted rates for monthly meetings and have access to electronic copies of presentations provided to the NWSCT.
