April Meeting

This is our Annual Education Symposium and will feature presentations from students at North Dakota State University's Department of Coatings and Polymeric Materials. It is on Tuesday, April 11th, 11:30am-1:30pm. The location is Valspar's Building #2 in Minneapolis. The address is 1028 South 3rd Street and the building is on the northwest corner of 11th Avenue South and South 3rd Street in downtown Minneapolis (MAP). The meeting will include lunch which the cost is $15 for members and $20 for non-members if registration is made by Friday, April 7th ($20/$25 if registering later). If street parking is unavailable there is a parking ramp at the Marriott hotel just a few blocks east of Valspar that is on the northeast corner of Interstate Highway 35W and Washington Avenue.

NWSCT Election: At our March meeting we held an election for officers of NWSCT for the 2017/18 year. Elected for the upcoming year were:
President: Bob Erickson
Vice President: Jon Parsinen
Secretary: Dale Ogden
Treasurer: Eric Scholl

Scholarship Program

We have launched a Scholarship program that will award individual scholarships to an active member of the NWSCT in good standing OR the son, daughter OR grandchild of an active member of the NWSCT in good standing. Applications are available at monthly meetings and on our website (Scholarship Program page). The deadline to register is May 1st.
