NWSCT December 2009 Newsletter

Our December meeting will be on Tuesday December 8, 2009 at 4:30 PM at Jimmy's Conference and Catering (http://www.visitjimmys.com/restaurant.html) or (http://www.visitjimmys.com/confandcatering.html) in Vadnais Heights. This talk will feature Debbie Hoffman of the Minnesota State Lottery. She will discuss how our lottery dollars are being used in the State.

The cost of this meeting will be $20 if you register on our website, http://www.nwsct.org/, using PayPal by Friday, December 4, 2009 and $25 after that date. This cost will include appetizers and a beverage.

The proposed changes to the NWSCT by-laws are now posted on the NWSCT website (http://www.nwsct.org/by-laws.php). Please carefully review the proposed by-laws as they will be discussed at the December meeting and will be voted on at the January meeting. The only way you will be able to vote on the proposed by-laws is if you are a member in good standing and by attending the January meeting in person. Thank you very much for your cooperation and participation.

Our January meeting will be on Tuesday, January 12 at 11:30 AM (10:30 AM Executive Committee meeting) at Valspar R&D.

Announcements and Upcoming Events:

- Winter Outing: The annual NWSCT Winter Outing is scheduled for January 22nd to 24th at Cragun's Resort. More details on this popular event can be read on the Events & Outings page.

- Poker Tournament: We are planning on hosting the 3rd annual NWSCT Poker Tournament on Friday, February 26, 2010. There will be more details to come.
